Once again loan guarantees---this time $36 billion---for new nuclear power plants are being pushed by the White House and Congress.

From 2007 until now YOU have helped prevent up to $50 billion in proposed new nuke loan guarantees. This on-going victory has helped keep the so-called "nuclear renaissance" in the Dark Ages where it belongs.

Now, when budgets are being slashed across the board, this new $36 billion demand is beyond absurd.

We strongly believe that if we win again, we may finally push the nuclear industry over the brink. Renewables are very quickly pricing atomic reactors totally out of any conceivable market for energy.

If we stop these proposed new billions beyond 2012, we may finally bury the prospects for this failed industry.
