Huge TVA Electric Rate Increase Takes Effect

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.  - The Tennessee Valley Authority's largest electric rate increase in more than three decades takes effect Wednesday as thousands of consumers already are struggling to pay their power bills and avoid service cutoffs.
