Nuclear Power Plant in Iran to be Completed Next Year

Head of the Rosatom [state] corporation [for nuclear energy] Sergey Kiriyenko has told ITAR-TASS that difficulties with ensuring the timely financing of the construction of the Bushehr nuclear power plant have been removed.
According to him, "the work is under way and certain difficulties that were emerging, including regarding the timely financing, are being coped with by joint efforts of the Iranian customer and the Russian contractor".
"We are to complete the work in full next year," Kiriyenko stated.
The Rosatom head declined to specify the time frame of the launch of the Bushehr NPP [nuclear power plant] noting that "it will be launched in accordance with the agreed schedule". [Passage omitted]
